Chair and music still life

Over the summer, I am going to work on a series of still lifes from observation that will be an introduction to my A.P. portfolio. Observation is a key to art that I have yet to focus much on, because I haven't given it much thought, but I have been constantly nagged, by my art teacher and other people, to start doing this more often. Colleges look for this, but I think I like it better than what I have been doing actually. :) I am hoping that my future still lifes will be better looking than this one, but this is the first so I decided to put it on here anyway. I like it, I love the colors and the music, I haven't gotten to do much with music in my art yet. I love music, so hopefully I will have the chance to entertwine a bit of music into future works.
